The project “Development of the Activities and Services of the MIÉNK Cluster” greatly contributes to the development of international relations of cluster members. The development has been carried out with HUF 37.94 million non-refundable European Union subsidy.
IQ Kecskemét aims to further develop and operate an innovation ecosystem, which is implemented by MIÉNK (Magyar Innovatív Építőipari Nyílt Klaszter) Cluster through cooperation platforms.
The goal of MIÉNK Cluster is to unite and support producers, suppliers, researchers and service providers in the construction sector, and to increase the effectiveness of their activities.
The aim of the successfully implemented project in building international relations is to support the export marketing activities of the member companies of the cluster, and to facilitate the development of new international relations. Therefore, IQ Kecskemét Kft. implemented the provision of complex services. The company participated as the organizer in the 2018 and 2019 IDEA Conferences, which became the most important engineer professional events in the Hungarian and Central European market. Based on the successes and feedback of the events, another international conference, IDEA Electric, was also held, focusing on electrical design. In addition, professional trainings (LEAN management system knowledge training, TPM system knowledge basic training, SMED practical training) were organized, adapted to the needs of the cluster companies. In addition, the Cluster helped the international networking of members by organizing exhibitions and customer meetings, as well as the Cluster organization itself has become more professional by creating a new workplace as an independent cluster manager.
The listed activities were carried out by IQ Kecskemét Kft. as a gestor company of the MIÉNK Cluster from the Regional Development Fund and with the assistance of the Government of Hungary. Within the framework of the Széchenyi 2020 programme, they received a 64.17% non-refundable support for the implementation of the above project within the framework of the call “Support for the Provision of Quality Services by Professional Cluster Organisations”, the rate of which is: HUF 37,935,935.
